Environmental policy
Acinor is a trading company dealing with sulphuric acid and sodium Hydroxide from suppliers abroad and domestically.
Sodium Hydroxide is imported by truckloads directly to customers.
Sulphuric Acid is imported in shiploads to tank terminal at Fredrikstad – from where the product is being transported to our customers by tank vessels or truckloads.
We intend to be a leading company as regards secure and environmentally safe sea- and land transport, using modern classified tankers and ADR classified trucks.
Therefore we work continuously to prevent spillage of chemicals and accidents in connecting with loading, discharging and loading both at tank terminal and during transport.
We emphasize the use of energy-economic processing of chemicals and waste disposed at the tank terminal.
In this connection we are obligated to follow national and international laws and regulations to secure a safe handling of chemicals and practise secure transport with minimal influence of external environment.

ØRA ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE
The company is a member of Øra Environment Committe which is a cooperation between environmentally certified companies located at Øra, environmental organizations, local community and local authorities.
